What is water skiing?

Water skiing is a water activity that involves being towed by a motorized boat while being equipped with specially designed skis that glide over the water. The skier stands on the skis, usually connected by a strap, and is pulled by the boat at a relatively high speed. Water skiing is a sport that requires balance, strength, endurance and coordination to stay upright on the skis while navigating the water. It's an exhilarating and fun water sport to do alone or with a group !

REMINDER OF SAFETY RULES

To fully enjoy your water skiing session, here are a few safety rules to follow :

You must wear a buoyancy vest;
The orange flame must be installed and deployed to indicate the practice of water sports;
There must be 2 people on board the boat: the pilot and a person watching the person being towed;
In the event of a fall, you must stop the boat and go at slow speed towards the skier. Once you are close to him, stop the propeller and let the boat float;
It is now up to the skier to swim to the boat, which should not perform any maneuvers near him for safety reasons.
